Drinking Water Rate Analysis

The City of Gold Beach commissioned a drinking water rate analysis for their water utility to verify that rates were covering their financial needs. The analysis used the utility's financial information, capital improvements plan, and customer usage data to evaluate current rate performance and explored two alternatives that would allow the utility to cover the true cost of providing drinking water to its customers, including contributions to reserves and debt services.
