Lead Service Line Inventory

In 2021, the Environmental Protection Agency adopted revisions to the Lead and Copper Rule.  The revisions included a requirement for public water systems to conduct inventories of service lines and to identify the type material used in those lines. The intent of the service line inventory requirement is to identify those service lines made of lead so that they can be scheduled for removal and replacement.

Public water systems were required to conduct an inventory all service lines, on both the water system side and the homeowner side of the meter, and to submit the results to Oregon Health Authority–Drinking Water Services (DWS) by October 16, 2024

Gold Beach Public Works finished it's lead service line inventory on September 24th, 2024.  Click HERE to view the inventory report.
