Tamie Kaufman
Mayor Tamie Kaufman is a property manager by trade and has served on several committees for the City of Gold Beach and was elected Mayor in 2020. Kaufman is almost a native to Gold Beach moving here when she was eight. She has a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Oregon University (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) and an Associates Degree from Southwestern Oregon Community College. In addition to the Mayor volunteer position, she also volunteers on the Citizens Review Board, the CCD Business Development Board and the Oregon Coast Community Action Board. Kaufman owns a small business handling property management for cooperatives all over Oregon.
