I was raised on the Rogue River, and Southern Oregon has instilled in me a strong sense of community and an appreciation of the natural world. After graduating from Grants Pass High School I earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs with a focus on economic development and graduate degree in education. I got to know our community when I was in college and met my future husband, who was born and raised in Gold Beach. We were delighted when we were able to move to town in 2013. Since that time I have connected with many people and groups that have demonstrated the strengths of our rural community. As a council member I hope to be a conduit for people to connect to and shape their city. I am happy to be able to serve all of those who call Gold Beach home.
